D. Ari Buchler, Esq.

Senior Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary

D. Ari Buchler manages Phase Forward's legal and corporate affairs globally and advises the company's board of directors, bringing over 12 years of experience to the company. Buchler has led the company's efforts to establish strong contractual relationships with its continuously growing client base. He has played a central role in Phase Forward's capital raising efforts and its initial public offering in 2004, and is a key member of the company's corporate development team. At Phase Forward, Buchler's practice areas include mergers and acquisitions, financing, strategic alliances, technology licensing, employment, intellectual property, and corporate governance.

Before joining Phase Forward in 1999, Buchler served as corporate counsel for Cahners Business Information (now Reed Business Information), a leading business-information provider, and prior to that as a corporate associate in the Boston office of Skadden, Arps LLP, one of the world's leading law firms. At Skadden, Arps, Buchler focused on mergers and acquisitions and other corporate transactions.

Buchler holds a bachelor of arts degree, summa cum laude, from Hunter College of the City University of New York, and earned his doctor of jurisprudence degree with honors from Columbia University School of Law.
